Eliza's Song by Sandra Powell

Kyle 'Cass' Cassidy has toured the world as the singer with his rock band, Demon for the last twenty years.  He loves his life and wouldn't change it for the world.  Until the tour bus crashes on a motorway after the final show of their twentieth anniversary tour, leaving just two survivors.
Lying in a hospital bed, badly injured, he cannot see a way past the trauma and depression after losing so many of his friends.
Kate is the single parent of a teenage son and they spent their time at loggerheads with each other, and it isn't the wonderful relationship she always assumed she would have with her son.  She lives in Northavon, where Cass grew up, and is best friends with his sister.  When she is persuaded to accompany her to the hospital to try and help Cass out of his depression, Kate isn't convinced it will do any good.
Eliza Cassidy went into service for the rich family of coal mine owners, who live in the big house overlooking the village of Northavon, when she was fourteen years old.  She didn't deserve the way one of the young masters of the house treated her.
As Cass tries to work out what to do with the rest of his life, both Eliza and Kate will touch his heart in a way none of them would expect.
