A naive FBI agent obtains an incriminating video of a Presidential candidate, eight weeks before the election. The agent tells the campaign that the candidate must drop out, or he'll release the video. Someone decides a better plan is to get the video, and eliminate the agent.

Tasked with obtaining the video, Win James instead ends up saving the FBI agent, then must protect him from several parties who want him dead. It is up to Win to figure out who the variety of bad guys are, who they work for, and then convince them to stop what they're doing

No Good Deed is a fast-paced tale filled with intrigue and suspense, as it highlights the duplicity and ruthlessness of the political machine, all with the author's trademark wit and humor.
