Set in medieval time, Lourin at the tender age of eighteen being the only blood relative of a duke refused to let her life become suffocated with formalities and responsibilities. Yearning for simplicity and to choose her fate freely she ran away from a life of wealth and kept her identity secret. She built the perfect family with two amazing daughters and a husband who loved her beyond measure.
Greed and jealousy led an evil hearted mother-in-law and sister-in-law to collude with a corrupt bishop to destroy her life. They hired bandits to assassinate her but she survived, unfortunately her one true love was ripped from her life. Becoming a widow she tried desperately to protect and provide for her daughters. Mercenaries were hired to get rid of her. She was captured and separated from her daughters. With her head covered completely she remained in utter darkness while being transported for days as they tried to crush her spirit. She was abused, mocked, humiliated and made to believe her daughters were dead.
Into a river she was thrown where she struggled to stay afloat however the raging currents dragged her over a waterfall. Abandoned and left for dead in an African jungle Lourin faced off with lions, gigantic snake, crocodile, wild beasts and dangerous tribes by defending herself and fighting desperately for survival. Having hope that her daughters are still alive she dug deep within herself and found the strength to stand firmly against the world.
Escaping the jungle she searched for her daughters but encountered insurmountable challenges. However, she was no longer the feeble female but the countless cruelties she went through molded her into a strong and fearless warrior. Single handedly she challenged and defeated fierce Viking warriors, saving the lives of women and children. Following this she encountered and fought off the evil spirit sent to possess her body then defeated the demon that targeted her on the command of the witch.
Deceived, captured again and tortured she questioned why her life is filled with such difficulties but struggled on fighting to survive to rescue her daughters. She escaped and using her God given strength pushed her body beyond its limit to face off with a warlord. She unleashed the rage within and like a lioness she fearlessly annihilated the warlord and his army along with the corrupt bishop, overcoming all major obstacles.
She then confronted her evil mother–in-law and sister-in-law at the orphanage just as they were about to torture her daughters. They were nothing but mere flies before her and she crushed them with little effort.
Reunited with her daughters she filled the emptiness within her soul, fulfilled the promise to her husband and restored her reason for living.
