Saint Express: That Weird Christian Kid by Chuchu Ukpabi

Saint express by Chuchu Ukpabi

Real Christians are “strange” and “controversial” but we don’t care.

Jesus is just too amazing.

However...

There’s ALWAYS something that challenges your faith.

And that was Avera’s role in my life at the time.

This is the real life story, told in verse, of my growing in Christ.

Some parts are romantic. MANY parts are embarrassing.

Some parts are inspirational. Some parts are extreme.

But all of it is for His Glory.

This is the struggle I had with

my Lord Jesus,

with Avera,

with my stupid past sins,

with my flesh,

And who I’m called to be.

It gets weird.

And this is not some typical, trash poetry.

I hate poetry that forcefully tries to be mysterious or just doesn’t really make any sense.

THIS IS NOT THAT

This is

That Weird Christian Kid

Disclaimers:

Avera’s name was obviously changed to protect her identity and from embarrassing her and her generations, for generations. Any sort of similarity or resemblance to anyone else is entirely coincidental. Statements made about her faith are in defense of my own faith.

It is not an attack on her faith at all; it is for debate and conversation about the truth of life and beyond. Plus, the world ALWAYS mocks Jesus anyways so don’t be mad when we, His followers, defend why He is the only true way.

One of my uncles is a lawyer. Do your worst.

And finally,

If you’re not a Christian or just struggling with your faith, this book will actually make you fall in love with Jesus and see Him for who He truly is: The Lord of Truth and Love. This Christian experience can make you open your eyes. You’ve been warned.
